The Longest Day

The longest day in history just finished. I accomplished an almost impossible feat in Central Asia. In one day I managed to navigate through the 4 story Tax Ministry to hunt down some documents we need for Step by Steppe. I then managed to get to one bank to pay the fees to the Ministry of the Exterior to whom we submit our papers for official invitation purposes. I then managed to go to another bank to pay a secondary fee. Oh, and it was done mostly in Russian. I don't know Russian. This doesn't sound like much, I know. A friend the other day though said "Plan to do one thing a day. Any more and you will drive yourself mad!" Tomorrow we submit our papers to MEED as the first of the final steps of moving from our current visa, to Step by Steppe's visa. Phew!
