Michelle, Cooking Master

Tabblo: Michelle, Cooking Master

Michelle has shown a surprising aptitude for cooking ever since we arrived in Central Asia. We subsisted on prepared foods while working on our M.A.'s back in Canada. We had no idea of her untapped skills back then.

Here Michelle has decided to make a spongecake. Now, I am not 2% of the assistant chef I used to be, but I know that this is not for the faint of heart. Michelle's heart neither fainted nor faultered. In the end, out came a delicious and perfectly made spongecake! It was for a birthday of a friend out here. ... See my Tabblo>

All highspeed with no where to go

We finally got highspeed after days and days, hours and hours, sleepless nights of Shane trying to get the high speed to work. But...... now that we have highspeed we are trying everyone in our Skype contact list, yet no one is home!!! Where are you world out there?

We spoke too soon

Well.... our reports that Spring had arrived unfortunately were premature. Yesterday it snowed. For several days it has been getting colder. And now, in true Central Asia fashion, the turning on of the radiators signals that the cold weather is staying a little longer.
But we don't despair. Spring IS coming!
